Group Exercise Instructor
I am a Yoga Instructor at the Neighborhood Club Recreation and Wellness Center. I began practicing yoga several years ago after multiple injuries-two of them related to running. Yoga helped me heal, build strength, improve my flexibility and return to running. Yoga also gave me something very unexpected: a sense of peace. I would leave a class feeling physically challenged and mentally whole. I had the mental energy to tackle the next challenge in my day.
After several years of practicing yoga, I decided it was time to share the benefits and become certified to teach. I enjoy the members at the Neighborhood Club. They're genuinely appreciative after every class. Teaching is very rewarding!
