What is a Health & Wellness Coach?

Think of it like a lifestyle mentor, someone who educates and supports people in their journey to build healthy habits and create sustainable lifestyle changes with the overall goal of living a healthy life. Health & Wellness coaching recognizes that relationships, work, stress, sleep, and exercise all play a huge role in our health. 

By placing an emphasis on nutrition, self-care, physical activity and the many other elements that affect our mental and physical wellbeing, our L.E.A.N. Wellness Coaching program aims to support you wherever you are in your journey to becoming a healthier and fitter version of yourself. Your coach will provide you with the education, accountability and overall support that you need in order to have more energy and accomplish your health goals, whatever that might be!

Frequently Asked Questions: 

Will you provide me with weekly meal plans?

Your Health & Wellness Coach will support your nutritional goals through education and accountability, helping you decide what might work best for your body based on your goals, likes and dislikes, as well as budget. They are not a Dietician and therefore cannot provide you with specific meal plans.

Will you help diagnose injuries or other medical concerns?

A Health & Wellness Coach does NOT diagnose and is NOT a substitute for seeing a Medical Provider, but can refer you to a Medical Professional if a concern is out of their scope. Examples include, referring individuals to a Dietician, Therapist, Physician, Physical Therapist, etc.

Can you help me tone up and lose or gain weight?

Absolutely! Our certified health and wellness coach, Becky, is also a certified personal trainer and can help you achieve your fitness and physique goals by empowering you with the knowledge you need in order to make reasonable changes nutrition and physical activity wise. Whether you are looking to simply tone your body, or lose or gain a couple of pounds to look and feel your best (whatever that means and looks like to YOU!). We use a person-centered approach, rather than a one-size fits all approach."
