Donation Guidelines
Donations are accepted Wednesdays and Saturdays 10 am-3 pm. Due to space
we would appreciate your donation to be limited to 3 bags or boxes.
(Unless the store is closed for a holiday.)
We are extremely limited with space, which occasionally requires us to turn away donations.
In the best interest of supporting the Neighborhood Club, donations must be in clean and sellable condition. Clothing items must be “in season”, and gently worn, clean, and free of stains and holes. Household items must be clean, in working condition, and free of any cracks, chips or broken pieces. Seasonal /Holiday items are accepted two months prior to the occasion.
We are not able to accept the following:
Any items that are not in sellable condition (as determined by the Thrift Shop staff) cannot be accepted at delivery.
Any electrical items, florist glass vases
Sports equipment (skis, ice skates, roller blades, skateboards, helmets, bikes etc.)
Car seats, highchairs, toddler potties, swings, etc.
Undergarments, bathing suits
Magazines, Reader Digest, school textbooks, medical books
Mattress covers, bed pillows
Hazardous waste (lamp oil), gasoline used items/propane items
Weapons, fireworks, and any other hazardous or dangerous items
Estate/garage sale cleanouts
We are unable to lift large boxes of heavy donations. Please donate your items in small boxes or bags and limit their weight.
We gratefully accept:
Clothing and clothing accessories for men, women and children
(Fall and winter clothing is accepted August through February. Spring and summer clothing is accepted February through July.)
Purses, tote bags, shoes
Kitchenware, barware, dishes
Home accessories, framed artwork, linens
Board games, puzzles, DVDs, CDs
Hard cover books (paper back in children’s only)
